Weather in Khon Kaen and the Northeast

About Google adverts
The northeast, or Isarn, has the annual climate cycle that perhaps most visitors expect when coming to Thailand.

Khon Kaen and the Northeast Weather: From October to February the weather is largely dry and is described by the locals as the "cool" season. This may be strecthing a point but in the evenings it can get quite chilly, continuing through the night until about 8 or 9 in the morning. The temperature builds through March and April and in the midday sun it can feel like being shot with a laser beam! This period can be quite dusty too, so that when the rain begins in May it comes as a relief to most people. Short, sharp showers are characteristic of the early rainy season, but later on the rain can become fairly continuous.
