Rangsit Marsh, Suan Luang, Suan Lumphini and Suan Luang are all within striking distance of the city centre. Any of the three parks can be visited as an introduction to Thai birding by a fairly short taxi ride from any of the main hotels. Rangsit Marsh is a site with its own specialities and very close to Don Muang airport; ideal for those making only a brief stopover in Bangkok.
