checklists have been compiled from my personal records and
from the observations that I know others to have made. Species
that are of doubtful occurence, or are known from records
that are yet to be confirmed are avoided.
There
are undoubtedly many species to add to these lists and I only
include them to give birders an idea of what to expect to
see when visiting each location, and to encourage the submission
of records on completion of the trip. I would welcome additions
to the lists so that I can offer them in more complete form
